"As much as I hate to say it, I know beyond a doubt that the next weeks are going to be nasty. He’s leading, and there are people who simply cannot stomach the idea of his beautiful family living in the White House. There will be smears, all sorts of slander and lies, the likes of which you’ve probably rarely seen. So y’all, we got to pray for this man. And please . . . make sure you VOTE!" Yeah, this foreplay just wets the appetite! Can't wait until McCain gets caned.
I'm with boris.
Well, it's the day after Indiana and North Carolina. Let the games begin.
First thing I heard this morning when I turned on the news was hearing some big name Super Duper Delegates switching their support from Clinton to Obama. I think everyone knows that things are trending very well except Hillary who looks embalmed now out on the stump in West Virginia. She should have taken at least a nap, and washed the hairspray out of her hair. She looks really bad. Give it up girl. Take a wee break and then start campaigning for Obama and against McCain.
Oh, thank you for my Friday Pew present. I wonder how the less liberal polls are doing...? I'm going to troll cyberspace.
I recall an interview with Dick Cheney who, when asked about a poll showing 2/3rds of all Americans against the war, said "Polls change."
Unfortunately, he's right. We must not give up the right to speak out or email our representatives and let them know what we want—in this case, a fair election. Both 2000 and 2004 are not that long ago.
If we ever needed a time for activism, it's now during this election.
O/T: Please vote in my Instant Recount Voting (IRV) ballot on the next Vice-President of the United States! (And leave your name in the comments!)
Thank you Yellow Dog. I appreciate it. I have never been so misunderstood... by fellow liberals anyhow.
I really like your graphs here that denote how many delegates each candidate needs. Nice and handy. I WILL be back.
Again... thanks for helping me focus on what matters--taking down McCain.
Thanks, YD, for the support on the Utah blog, and thanks for the interesting graphs here. I like what I see.
