Meet Michael Parenti

I recommend starting with the 2nd clip and, if your time isn't entirely eaten up, go look at the first!

I saw theses on D/Kos this morning.

I applaud where he says what's Iraq-Nam has in common with the Vietnam war. The only political battle of visible in the MSM is between those who say 'we can win this thing' and those who say 'we can't win this thing'. But the real issue is should we be trying to win this? Should we be there? (Any more?)

Even though Parenti is a Marxist, he's amusing one. And a deep thinker. However he misses the old Soviet Union and the Rump, post-Tito, Yugoslavian state. (The trains ran on time, etc.)
